Lately, I’ve been thinking a lot about legacy and purpose — the kind that doesn’t fade when we’re gone. When I started Guiding Hand Publishing, I wanted it to be more than a company name. It comes from Psalm 139:10 — “Even there Your hand shall lead me, and Your right hand shall hold me fast.”
As I mediated on this Word, this verse, I realized the hand of God has carried me through seasons of uncertainty and reminded me that we are never creating alone. The same guiding hand that steadies me through life’s work is the one that inspired this vision — a space where stories can heal, challenge, and endure.
Right now, I’m the main author behind Guiding Hand. But this is just the beginning. My hope is to expand — to welcome other writers whose voices speak truth, hope, and strength into the world. I want Guiding Hand to become a platform for many hands, all guided by purpose, faith, and the power of storytelling.
If this company continues to speak for me long after I’m gone — lifting hearts, stirring change, and shining light into dark places — then it will have fulfilled what it was always meant to do.
