History didn’t just happen. It was shaped, challenged, and transformed by people who refused to accept the world as it was. Among them are Black women whose courage didn’t just shift moments in time, it changed the direction of history itself.
This Women’s History Month, we are honoring 30 powerful Black women who changed history through our storytelling series under the Power Is Her Name Collection.

Each story highlights a defining moment. A choice. A stand. A voice that refused to be silenced.
From Harriet Tubman guiding people to freedom, to Sojourner Truth speaking truth to power, to Ida B. Wells exposing injustice, to Rosa Parks igniting a movement, to Shirley Chisholm redefining leadership. These women didn’t just live through history. They shaped it.
And they are only the beginning.

Across this month, we are sharing stories rooted in courage, resistance, leadership, and vision. Stories designed to inspire the next generation to understand one truth:
History is not just something we learn. It’s something we continue.
Follow along and walk this journey with us as we honor all 30 women:

Because their legacy didn’t end with them.
It lives on in what we choose to do next.
